Liu brings an extraordinary passion for creating opportunities and expanding access to education, aligning perfectly with Catalyte’s mission to connect unconventional talent with employers. His deep commitment to inclusivity and impact was central to our search for the next leader to drive Catalyte’s vision forward.
Liu previously was VP of Strategic Programs and Operations at Chegg and led several of their growth businesses, including Busuu, Chegg International and Writing Tools. His contributions have helped increase access to academic and skills training for hundreds of millions of learners across 160+ countries. Notably, Liu has a track record of guiding businesses through transformative growth through strategic insight and strong leadership. His recent work at Busuu helped return the business back to sustainable growth, seeing significant and successful shifts in both enterprise sales and consumer subscriptions strategies.
