Catalyte was recently included in Gartner’s first Market Guide for Agile and DevOps Services. The guide was compiled to provide insight for sourcing and vendor management leaders and recommend, “These leaders should identify which of the 11 services and six groups of service providers described in this guide will best support their in-house team.”
Included in the Market Guide were the following findings:
- Agile, iterative or lean methodologies are now used by 57% of software development teams.
- Distributed agile is widely practiced, despite many agile experts recommending that it be avoided.
- There is no sign that the growth of agile will abate.
Catalyte was listed in the “Small Systems Integrator” category, for companies with less than 500 employees. Companies in this category, “like their larger competitors, offer a full range of agile and DevOps services, from strategy to managed services, and are likely to use well-established practices such as TDD, BDD, continuous integration or automated testing.”
At Catalyte, we have the ability to spearhead digital transformation initiatives or deliver comprehensive managed services, Catalyte is a partner for all modes of IT. We provide teams optimized for enterprise application development, product engineering, managed services (QA, DevOps, Prototyping) or staffing engagements. We also maintain COEs in agile, DevOps, QA, architecture and UI/UX to support or clients at every step of the software development lifecycle.
