Put our talent to work

Catalyte is happy to announce its sixth national development center, this one located in the Phoenix-Scottsdale market.

Currently, 10 trainees are on their 26-week journey to becoming apprentice developers. We plan on adding additional training classes throughout the year. Catalyte Opens New Phoenix-Scottsdale Engineering Talent Development Center

Office will service local financial services and healthcare customers and train Arizonans for software engineering careers

Baltimore – April 27, 2020 – Catalyte announced the launch of a new software development center in Phoenix-Scottsdale. Its initial staff of software engineers are working on projects for several financial services and healthcare companies in the area. The center will also be a hub for Catalyte’s software developer apprentice training program, with an initial 26-week class launched earlier this month. The Phoenix-Scottsdale location is Catalyte’s sixth development center.

Catalyte believes that exceptional technology talent can come from unexpected places.

Its Odyssey workforce development platform identifies individuals, regardless of background, who have the innate potential and cognitive ability to be great software developers, and delivers exceptional and sustainable tech talent when, where and how it’s needed.

“In these difficult economic times, we need better options for reskilling unemployed individuals and providing businesses with exceptional, onshore technology talent,” said Jacob Hsu, CEO of Catalyte. “This new development center will allow us to do that in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area. Anyone affected by COVID-related layoffs is welcome to take our screening and become a software developer. And local companies will now have access to a new and unlimited source of talent that can withstand international disruptions.”

Catalyte is able to help increase a person’s earnings almost 4x in just five years, regardless of education level, work history or prior technology industry experience. A 2019 study found that before joining Catalyte, the average salary of current and former employees was $25,000. Five years after completing our training, that salary average was $98,000.
