Catalyte had previously worked with a global hospitality company on several projects, including a sales management app. Because of that success, the company engaged Catalyte to enhance a customer-facing virtual vacation property touring app.
The existing app couldn’t collect key sales data or integrate with the company’s CRM. Complicating enhancement efforts, the app was built in the competing frameworks of Backbone.js and AngularJS.
Working in Backbone and Cordova, with the intent of enabling the app to be easily porter to other platforms or translated for globalization if the need arose, Catalyte implemented new functionality that improved the user experience for both customers and sales people.
This improved functionality, and ability to better record and track key metrics and customer data, generated sales from the app’s first day of use.
