What’s the correct tech career path to take? According to Catalyte’s COO Eliot Pearson, that answer depends on what you want out of your career.
Eliot joined a panel to discuss various career trajectories as part of Technical.ly’s Philly Tech Week. They explored ways to join the tech industry and options to continue to be an expert practitioner or apply your expertise to management.
Although he started as a developer, Eliot has transitioned into a management position, in part due to his passion for helping others in their careers. “At the end of the day, I can write code, but it’s always nice to help someone go build the future, and that’s where I am in my career at the moment,” he said.
