In October 2020, we launched a partnership with Koch Industries to discover, develop and deploy talent in its headquarters city of Wichita, Kansas.
This spring, we saw the initial results of this program with the hiring of its first apprenticeship group. Koch explained the value of the program and how it has changed the lives of participants in this recent video.
Due to this initial success, we have launched additional apprenticeship development programs in Wichita. This will create a continuing pipeline of retrained software developers for Koch. More people like Isaac will now be able to launch new technology careers, uplifting their families and communities.
Isaac was looking for a career change, so he joined our Koch-@Catalyte_io pilot program that trained him to become a software developer.
