The Maryland Tech Council named Catalyte its Technology Company of the Year. The award was announced at the organization’s 2022 Industry Awards Celebration, held May 12th in Rockville, Md.
“This award validates what we’ve been doing here in Maryland for over 20 years: unleashing human potential by developing extraordinary tech talent from unexpected places,” said Catalyte CEO Jacob Hsu during his acceptance speech. “I ask that everyone join us in expanding opportunities to historically excluded groups. This is how we will build a stronger, more inclusive state economy; one that uplifts individuals, companies and communities, and makes Maryland more competitive on the national and international stage.”
“We are thrilled to honor the most dynamic and exciting tech and life science companies, leaders and students of the past year,” said Marty Rosendale, CEO of the Maryland Tech Council. “Each winner set the standard for innovation, leadership, education and impact in their organization, community or classroom. I congratulate all winners and finalists for inspiring excellence across Maryland’s innovation and education landscapes.”
This marks the second consecutive year that Catalyte has won a major Maryland Tech Council award. Jacob Hsu was named “Chief Executive Officer of the Year – Technology” in 2021.
We would like to thank our partner Clearview Group for nominating Catalyte for this award, everyone who voted for us and everyone at Catalyte who’s hard work and dedication makes us worthy of such recognition. We’re excited about what this means in terms of providing more opportunities to people from all backgrounds to enter the tech industry.
