CEO Jacob Hsu joins Rework America Task Force

Rework America Taskforce - A Markle Initaitive

Put our talent to work

In support of Catalyte’s mission to advance human potential for the digital revolution, CEO Jacob Hsu has become a founding member of the Rework America Task Force.

An initiative of the Markle Foundation, Rework America is a coalition of influential leaders with diverse backgrounds and experience who have joined together in service of modernizing the nation’s outdated labor market and unlocking economic opportunity for American job seekers, workers and businesses.

Rework America is chaired by Denis McDonough, former White House Chief of Staff to President Barack Obama, and includes members from some of the world’s leading organizations and institutions – including Siemens USA, Microsoft, IBM, Princeton University, Hearsay Systems, Walmart and Coursera.

“Talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not,” said Hsu. “Catalyte believes that underserved urban populations contain just as many people with the talent to succeed in high-growth industries such as software development, as any other group. What they lack is the traditional societal markers of success; markers that favor those with economic or educational privileged.”

“In order to transform America’s economy, it’s time organizations adopt the use of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence to identify individuals, regardless of background, who have the innate potential and cognitive ability to succeed in 21st century jobs. I’m excited to join the Rework America Task Force to advance human potential for the digital revolution.”
